Barron’s Top 100 Independent Advisors 2023: The rankings are based on data provided by around 4,000 of the nation’s most productive advisors. Factors included in the rankings: assets under management, revenue produced for the firm, regulatory record, quality of practice, and philanthropic work. Investment performance isn’t an explicit component because not all advisors have audited results and because performance figures often are influenced more by clients’ risk tolerance than by an advisor’s investment-picking abilities. Advisors who wish to be ranked fill out a 102-question survey about their practice. We verify that data with the advisors’ firms and with regulatory databases and then we apply our rankings formula to the data to generate a ranking. The formula features three major categories of calculations: (1) Assets (2) Revenue (3) Quality of practice. In each of those categories, we do multiple subcalculations. We also consider a wide range of qualitative factors, including the advisors’ experience, their advanced degrees, and industry designations, the size, shape, and diversity of their teams, their charitable and philanthropic work, and of course, their compliance records. MMA did not pay to participate in or for the Barron’s ranking. Barron’s ranking is for general information only and does not constitute or imply an endorsement or recommendation of any kind of Miracle Mile Advisors, LLC (“MMA”) services or products.

Investment News Best Places to Work 2023: Participating organizations must complete a two-part process to be considered for inclusion on the list. The first part consists of evaluating each registered organization’s workplace policies, practices, and demographics and is worth approximately 25% of the total evaluation. The second part consists of an employee survey to measure the employee experience and is worth approximately 75% of the total evaluation. To ensure credibility, organizations having 15-24 employees must have an 80% or better response rate on the employee survey across the 8 core focus areas: Leadership and Planning, Corporate Culture and Communications, Role Satisfaction, Work Environment, Relationship with Supervisor, Training, Development, and Resources, Pay and Benefits, and Overall Engagement. The combined scores determine the top companies and which organizations are included on the list. Best Companies Group (BCG) manages the overall registration and survey process and also analyzes the data and uses our expertise to determine the final rankings. Investment News Best Places to Work 2021: Participating organizations must complete a two-part process to be considered for inclusion on the list. Inc. 5000 Fastest-Growing Companies in the U.S. 2021: The Inc. 5000 lists the 5,000 fastest-growing private companies in the U.S. The Inc. 5000 ranks companies by overall revenue growth over a three-year period. The company must have done the following: generated revenue by March 31, 2017; generated at least $100,000 in revenue in 2017; generated at least $2 million in revenue in 2020; Be privately held, for-profit; based in the U.S., and independent (not a subsidiary or division of another company). Companies are ranked according to the percentage growth of their annual revenue over a three-year period. To assess this, we ask for your base year and recent year’s revenues. This gives us a three-year growth period. The equation for growth percentage is: [(Recent Yearly revenue – Base Year revenue) / Base Year revenue] x 100 = total growth percentage. Barron’s Top 100 Independent Advisors 2020: The rankings are based on data provided by around 4,000 of the nation’s most productive advisors.
